We Care/Kids Kottage Program

We Care is an auxiliary program supporting Kids Kottage, a transitional home operated by Washoe County Social Services for children from birth to 18 years of age who have been removed from their homes. Backpacks and school supplies are provided in the fall, and special treats such as Christmas stockings, Valentines, and Easter baskets are presented during holidays. In the past, larger needs have been filled by providing computers, a large screen TV, educational games, bicycles and gym equipment.
